Chris Fox is a contemporary sculptor who combines interventions, hybrid objects, drawings and models with architecture. His training as an artist and architect is often apparent in his projects. He has exhibited extensively nationally and internationally and has received a number of awards, scholarships and grants including the Australia Council Los Angeles studio residency. He has work held in collections in Australia and has been commissioned for a number of large-scale sculptural interventions including private and public art commissions nationally and internationally. Recent projects include a public commission for Energy Australia in 2011 and Convergence for Global Switch Data Centre, Paris, 2011. Chris is currently lecturing and programme coordinator in the Art Workshops in the Architecture Faculty at the University of Sydney.
